Enrique Garcia focuses his practice on real estate acquisitions primarily tourism and industrial developments, real estate structured finance and securitization, construction deals, corporate and M&A transactions and government contracts, advising both domestic and international clients in doing business and investing in Mexico and on cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transactions. He has represented clients which include multinational companies, private equity funds and their portfolio companies in a wide range of industries including hospitality, leisure, industrial, commercial and residential, manufacturing, infrastructure, government solutions, among others.

Experience

  • Acquisitions by U.S and Global Real Estate Funds and International Hospitality Companies of Grand Tourism Resorts located in the Mexican Caribbean and Mexican Pacific with a value of over USD $ 2 billion.
  • U.S. Real Estate Fund and Global Spanish Hospitality Company swap with value of USD $ 500 million.
  • Notes Offering by U.S. Real Estate Fund in the U.S. market with value of USD $ 600 million.
  • Acquisition by a Global Real Estate Fund of one of the largest residential, hotels, marina, comercial  real estate Project in Mexico named “Puerto Cancún” located at Cancun, Mexico.
  • Securitization of financing transactions, restructuring of credit and loan agreements with global Spanish, Swiss, U.S. and German Banks with a value of over USD $ 1.5 billion.
  • Acquisitions of residential, commercial and industrial properties in Mexico, including representation in negotiations related to development, construction and management of such properties with value of hundred million dollars.
  • Creation of structures of government procurement and governmente contract with both public and private entities resulting in contracts with a value of over USD $ 1.5 billion.
